Family owned and operated since 1972
Jean Ginsburg began her business with Harley-Davidson® Motor Company in July 1972. She began with snowmobiles because she was a certified New York State snowmobile instructor. Later in the year she began offering motorcycles. She was one of the first women to own and operate an authorized Harley-Davidson® dealership.
All four of her children were brought up on motorcycles and in the business. Her oldest, Stuart, started on a Harley® 65cc, moving to a SXT250, which Adam blew-up while Stu was serving our country in the Marines. After numerous motorcycles, he now rides a 2009 FLHR and is Sales Manager. Adam started on a Harley® Z90 that got stolen from the back trails one day when he got a flat tire. Adam is our Service Manager. Cheryl started riding at age 7 and after many fumbles decided to be a faithful passenger and is now our Comptroller. Andrea, the youngest, started on a Italjet 50cc at age six and now owns a customized performance 2002 FXD and is our Parts Manager and MotorClothes® supervisor. Surviving the sales slump that pervaded the 70’s, Jean (also known as Hell’n) continued supply and service to members of her local community, some of whom are her most loyal customers to this day. Her faith in the Harley-Davidson® product and the return of a stronger economy in the 80’s kept her local buyers and Brunswick Harley® alive and well.
