About Butcher Boys
As you walk the midway of your local fair looking for something unique and substantial to spend your hard earned money on, it hits you.
Piercing thru the cacophony of sights, sounds and smells is the unmistakable aroma of grilling steak. Your senses become more focused as you look left and right attempting to locate the source of this primal scent.
Then you see it, in the center of a large concession trailer rimmed with flames is a large charbroiler loaded with huge 10-15 pound smoldering steaks. You watch as someone grabs one of the giant mouthwatering steaks and places it on an automatic slicer where it is thinly sliced to a tender and hot perfection. The sliced steak is then piled on a freshly steamed steak roll and you are offered onions and peppers, cheese, bbq sauce or horseradish sauce.
It all happens in a matter of seconds, and all right in front of your eyes so you know it doesn’t get any fresher!
“ This is why I’m here!” you think to yourself as you take the first bite, and this is why we,
The Butcher Boys, are here, to serve you our world famous London broil steak sandwich.
The Butcher Boys were founded in 1982 by Dennis Fraleigh and Richard Wright, and is currently owned and operated by Dennis and his wife Susan. You can find us grilling steak as far west as The Calgary Stampede in Canada and back east to The Eastern States Exhibition in West Springfield Massachusetts, from The Minnesota State Fair in Minneapolis to The Dade County Fair in Miami.
In addition to our London broil steak sandwiches we have a variety of other fresh offerings depending on the venue.
• We serve a charbroiled chicken pita, which is marinated fresh boneless, skinless chicken breast served on a toasted pita bread with your choice of toppings.
• We have traditional Greek gyros with a fresh tzatziki sauce made every morning.
• Our Italian sausage is charbroiled instead of flat grilled, which gives it a unique flavor and is a little healthier for you.
• We also serve a variety of fresh salads made to order right in front of you.
