Drop by for a firsthand look at our distillery where one of our guides will accompany you on a tour and tell you the complete story of our whiskey. And you’ll probably hear an interesting story or two about Mr. Jack as well. We hope to see you around Lynchburg sometime soon.
The town of Lynchburg is the seat of Moore County, the smallest county in Tennessee. Even though it’s home to the distillery, it’s a dry county and has been ever since Prohibition. And while the distillery may be the main attraction here, you don’t want to miss other local favorites like lunch at Miss Mary Bobo’s Boarding House and a trip to the Lynchburg Hardware & General Store. If you want to explore all the sights in Lynchburg, take your time. There’s plenty to see.
TOUR OVERVIEW
- Traditional tours are outdoors and require quite a bit of walking and steps
- Traditional tours lasts about 1 hour and 10 minutes
- All ages are welcome to take the traditional tour
- First-come first-served basis
- This is a working distillery; the tour path is sometimes altered to accommodate maintenance with little notice
- Wait time between tours varies on number of visitors
- Sampling tours are offered for a nominal fee
- Sampling tours last about 1 hour and 30 minutes
- Must be 21+ to join the sampling tour (must have a valid photo ID)
- Limited availability so be sure to arrive early
- Visitor Center, Sampling Tour and White Rabbit Bottle Shop are closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day
- The Sampling Tour and the White Rabbit Bottle Shop are closed Independence Day and Labor Day

- All tours involve walking and stairs; should you have a special circumstance please let us know

- Tours may be delayed due to inclement weather
- Jack Daniel’s does not offer any shuttles or bus rides to the distillery from other locations. Most folks who visit us either rent a car or charter a taxi for the day. When arranging transportation to Lynchburg, please plan your return trip with your car service ahead of time.
